The city of Nice is one of the best known in France. The Nice carnival is the largest in France . It takes place every winter, Place Masséna and Promenade des Anglais. It is a very old tradition, the first traces of which date back almost eight centuries. From February to March, we attend street arts, where parade groups from France, but also from about fifteen other countries.
We are also entitled to the king of the carnival, a sort of staging where His Majesty sits enthroned for the duration of the event. Many other micro-events and stagings contribute to liven up this long-lasting show, which allows the people of Nice to break with the routine.
