FAQ - Private driver in Geneva
The quote for a private driver in Geneva is established in Swiss francs or euros, at the client’s choice.
The currency is specified in the quote along with the total cost of the trip or service. This amount will not change, even if the exchange rate fluctuates before the day of the trip. For an invoice in the name of a Swiss company, please provide its contact information in your request.
A private driver cannot enter the grounds of the Palais des Nations with a visitor.
Only vehicles displaying a permit, issued by the delegations, are permitted. The driver will drop you off at the Pregny gate, 14 Avenue de la Paix, where the security check and badge issuance take place. This gate is open to visitors from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. The driver will pick you up at the same location.
To reclaim Swiss VAT on a purchase made in Geneva, such as a watch, the tax refund form must be stamped by Swiss customs upon leaving the country.
