Marseille → Cassis + Route des Crêtes / Cap Canaille
Cassis is a picture-postcard port nestled between white cliffs and turquoise sea, perfect for strolling along the quayside and through the narrow streets.
The Route des Crêtes offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
Cap Canaille impresses with its cliffs, among the highest in Europe (sea side), and the light there is incredible at sunset.
Between a typical Provençal village and a natural space, this is the winning combination.
From Cassis, the calanques can be discovered either by sea (Mediterranean fjord atmosphere), or from easily accessible viewpoints.
The contrasts of white rock / pine trees / blue water make for iconic photos, which is what many groups are looking for.
It’s a unique landscape: secluded coves, limestone cliffs, and translucent water just a few kilometers from a major city.
Each cove reveals its personality: Sormiou has the largest beach, Morgiou the largest fishing port and En-Vau the wildest side.
The experience is breathtaking: dizzying views, scents of the garrigue, and swimming if you feel like it.
Aix is the elegant version of Provençal charm: shaded courtyards, numerous fountains and honey-colored facades.
The historic centre is very easy to visit on foot, with an “art of living” atmosphere (terraces, markets, small squares).
The city is also associated with Cézanne : studios, landscapes and artistic vibes that speak to international visitors.
It’s an outing focused on culture and the dolce vita, ideal for people looking for a peaceful moment.
It’s a bestseller because it mixes two worlds in one day: morning in art city mode, afternoon by the sea.
Aix brings the heritage , shopping, narrow streets, museums and cafes; Cassis brings the port, the sea and the viewpoints .
For groups, it ticks many boxes: variety, photos, pleasant pace, and little complex logistics.
A very good itinerary for foreigners who want to see Provence without going too far.
Avignon is a medieval city surrounded by ramparts and rich in history.
The Palace of the Popes is a massive monument, rare in Europe, which impresses even those who are not very “museum-like”.
The centre is lively, pedestrian-friendly, and you quickly grasp the Provençal identity and heritage.
And of course, the Pont d’Avignon and the banks of the Rhône complete the visit with an iconic side.
You combine culture and local produce : a major historical site in the morning, followed by a vineyard immersion in the afternoon.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a mythical name internationally, with renowned estates and highly sought-after tastings.
The landscapes of vineyards, rolled pebbles and villages of the Rhône give a true feeling of wine-growing France.
Perfect for adult groups, incentive agencies, and premium tours.
Arles is a condensed version of Roman Antiquity: arenas, theatre, remains, all in the heart of a city on a human scale.
The Van Gogh identity adds a strong artistic dimension, with places and atmospheres reminiscent of his paintings.
It’s a photogenic city, with a very special light and a real Southern atmosphere.
In one day, visitors feel as if they have taken a leap back in time.
Arles brings culture ; the Camargue brings total natural immersion : ponds, marshes, immense horizons.
The pink flamingos, white horses and bulls create a unique image, highly sought after by foreign tourists.
People go there for the wild landscapes, the salt marshes, the typical villages and the atmosphere of a land of water.
It’s the perfect excursion when you want to get out of the cities.
